The Bloody Beetroots will be traveling to my old ‘home away from home’ on June 12 to play in at ROCKHAL in Esch Sur Alzette. Now for those of you who haven’t been to Esch Sur Alzette or Luxembourg for that matter, Esch is where one of the few universities in the entire country resides. It’s a college town is what I’m trying to say. :-)

I personally do not have much experience with Esch other than traveling through it on rail every weekend to get to the big train station in Luxembourg City to travel even further beyond Luxembourg’s borders.

Anyways, for those 2 or so people that read my blog in Europe, make sure to go to that show! AND for those of you who studied in Luxembourg with me…prices to fly over there for the weekend start at $1440 (out of Denver.)

I saw the Bloody Beetroots with Clare, Harvey and Janet at the Ogden in Denver. Pretty hard to explain how was awesome it was.

Here’s a clip of the opener. This DJ played some pretty cool tracks but I felt that he wasn’t into it at all. In fact it looked like he could have had more fun in a library studying physics.

THE BLOODY BEETROOTS DEATH CREW 77 Live CrossOver Festival

Now I know that many people consider the summer as ‘concert season’ but I disagree. It seems like (at least here in Colorado) the fall is really when things pick up. Every weekend (nearly every night to be exact) there’s an excuse to go to a venue (Beta, Fox, Ogden or otherwise) and rage.your.face.off.

I like this. In fact I like this so much I find reasons to GO out every night and do JUST that. To be clear…this type of expense (on my wallet and liver) is definitely ‘in budget.’

To that end I will be seeing some of my favorite groups, Bloody Beetroots, Dada Life, Muse and Rusko all within 8 weeks from today.
