Hi there. It’s a been a while.

Now I know that quite a few of you are heading to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival this weekend and that’s fine. I mean dancing around like a hippie and listening to ‘jam bands’ is fine but don’t you get bored after 10 minutes? To me I just don’t see it…although it would be really cool to see The Decemberists playing in a place like Telluride. So maybe you have something on me.

I’ll be heading to Salida to take part in the debauchery that is FIBARK. :-) Whatever you do, don’t call or write because I won’t be able to get to my phone (to say the least.)

So there’s a soft spot in my heart for Benny Benassi. I’m not terribly proud to admit it now that I like an entirely different genre of music but it’s hard to turn your back on one of the DJ’s that got you into the scene at an early age. Also, please ask my dear friend Ryan about the famous Benassi show we went to if you want to hear a great story.

Little known fact, PPK is the first group that got me into any electronic music. And for all of you out there that are laughing (many of you) let me just tell you that I was 14 so take it easy on me.
