The Bloody Beetroots will be traveling to my old ‘home away from home’ on June 12 to play in at ROCKHAL in Esch Sur Alzette. Now for those of you who haven’t been to Esch Sur Alzette or Luxembourg for that matter, Esch is where one of the few universities in the entire country resides. It’s a college town is what I’m trying to say. :-)

I personally do not have much experience with Esch other than traveling through it on rail every weekend to get to the big train station in Luxembourg City to travel even further beyond Luxembourg’s borders.

Anyways, for those 2 or so people that read my blog in Europe, make sure to go to that show! AND for those of you who studied in Luxembourg with me…prices to fly over there for the weekend start at $1440 (out of Denver.)

Well if you’re on the fence, this is exactly what their shows are like:

I freaking love I.LOVE.TECHNO. even though I’ve never been. It’s kinda hard to get over there since I live in Colorado and the festival is in Belgium but every year I say I’m going and every year I end up not. Hopefully this year will be different.

I saw the Bloody Beetroots with Clare, Harvey and Janet at the Ogden in Denver. Pretty hard to explain how was awesome it was.

Here’s a clip of the opener. This DJ played some pretty cool tracks but I felt that he wasn’t into it at all. In fact it looked like he could have had more fun in a library studying physics.
